Lots of horses close by too. It's also close to some of Ireland's historic monuments including Newgrange, Hill of Tara, Trim castle and Slane Castle and distillery. You can also enjoy some beautiful walks along the Boyne River (all around a 15 minute drive away). Also for families, Tayto Park is half an hours drive away. 40 minutes from Dublin airport by car or bus/taxi.
