Popsal is a delightful stone built property with a double and a twin room, lounge with tv and woodburner, kitchen with dining table, electric oven, microwave and fridge freezer, there is a shower over the bath with wc and seperate wc.

We are right in the heart of the stunning Galloway Forest and part of the UNESCO designated Biosphere, with trees, streams, lochs and mountains right on the doorstep.

Mongolian Yurt on the edge of the Galloway ForestOur traditional Mongolian yurt is located on pasture land at our home on the edge of the Galloway Forest, a Dark Sky Park. With uninterrupted sunset views in one direction and the mountains of the Southern Uplands in the other, enjoy the panorama or sit by the River Cree, which crosses our land. Less than 10 mins drive from Glen Trool, the 7 Stanes mountain bike trails, wild swimming spots and renowned hiking routes guests are perfectly placed to explore this unspoilt region.
