My classes are a mix of vinyasa and power yoga set to music. Expect to get your heart rate up and work your core, then settle into your mat for some restorative stretching and a Savasana under the palms! Classes are open to all levels of experience. Classes are small and I offer lots of hands on adjustments and assists We practice in the grass close to the water’s edge with a full view of the ocean. Stand up paddleboard yoga is an exciting way to experience Honolulu from a whole new perspective - on the water! Whether it's your very first yoga class, or you are an experienced yogi, our SUP yoga classes are for you. We anchor our SUP yoga boards in water that is about waist-deep, and flow through a slow and gentle (and at times challenging) yoga practice. This all-levels classes offers variations so everyone is able to work at their own ability level. Taking yoga to the water challenges your balance and stability, making it an excellent core workout. It encourages us to slow down, be mindful, and move with intention. There is also a strong element of play as we challenge ourselves and sometimes fall in. But not to worry, the warm, Hawaiian waters are very inviting! Other things to note: Wear a bathing suit and/or yoga clothes that can get wet and a towel. Come surf the waves on the world famous North Shore of Oahu. I will make sure you get the best conditions at the best location for your skill level. Upon receiving booking confirmation I will contact you and give you the lesson location according to the ocean conditions for that day. On the day of the lesson we will have a short meet and greet then begin a 10-15 minute land briefing where I will go over surfing basics and ocean safety. After that we will get in the water and enjoy catching many waves as you improve your skills. It is also highly likely we will see many Hawaiian sea turtles throughout the lesson. Begin your session with a brief lesson on land, then it's paddling time! Join a certified lifeguard, trained stand up paddle instructor on an experience you are guaranteed to love. Paddle across a beautiful calm bay and up a lush river, home of the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle. These amazing creatures are very passive, and also very big (up to 500 lbs!) Though we cannot guarantee sightings, it is very common to see them. Your friendly instructor will teach you stand up paddling techniques and skills as you travel along, so you can paddle like a pro! That means the weather is unpredictable and can often be rainy and/or windy and chilly in the mornings, especially during the winter months! Weather forecasts are not very reliable, and the conditions can change quickly. We will do our best to carry on with class, so please dress prepared for anything! Bring a towel, extra layers, rain jacket/poncho, sunglasses. Wear something comfortable to move in. Feel free to take photos or set up a timelapse video during class, and I can capture some photos of you or your group that we can share after class. We'll start our practice on the beach, going over some safety precautions and a few tips about how to stay centered and balanced on your board. Then we will walk the boards into waist-deep water and drop anchor so we don't drift away. Our yoga practice is slow and gentle, as we move mindfully and with intention. The class will have a few challenging poses, but most people do not fall in. As the practice comes to a close, we take in the darkness and the stillness as we float into savasana with the stars and the moon overhead, the gentle rock of the waves below, as we invite peace within. Anyone can do this tour as it is for beginners also. I will take you to one of the best snorkeling sites on Oahu to see sea turtles, tons of fish, sea life and dolphins. We will be using our jet propelled underwater scooter devices to create a fun and unique snorkeling experience, unlike any other! This tour will begin with a complimentary pickup from Waikiki at 2412 Koa ave, and a scenic drive to our snorkeling site approx. 30 mins depending which dive site we will be heading too. It is now time to embrace your surroundings and let us show you the Hawaiian way. We will begin by introducing the details of the surfboard. Then discuss the fundamentals including positioning on board, etiquette, paddling, how & when to stand up, & what to do once you are on the wave. We will discuss ocean safety, awareness and safety. Once the land training is done, we will walk right across the street and enter the water, don't worry about carrying any surfboards, we have a cart for that. Once we are in the water we will guide you to the best spot to position yourself to catch waves. We will be by your side and provide the extra push to get on the wave. Guests will learn how to create their own floral lei po’o, take a guided tour of the farm, and sample products grown and produced by the farmers on the property. A lei po’o is a floral headpiece that wraps around the head and are worn for many celebrations including birthdays and graduations. We will start the tour by picking you up from your location/Airbnb/Hotel (in town/Waikiki) There are many hiking options here on Oahu from majestic waterfalls to amazing ridges with views of the island. I am an expert on most hikes here so I will start by asking you what type of hike you are interested in doing and how difficult you are able to manage. Hiking here is like no where else. Each hike is unique and beautiful, there is no wrong choice. (Everyone always wants to do waterfalls but ridge hikes are also quite amazing here) I can also give you my expertise on what else to do on the island. After the hike we stop by a lookout 1200 feet over East Side of the island. Next I usually like to stop and grab boba or a snack before heading to the beach. Then we take our snacks to the beach, most often we check out Lani Kai beach, a very beautiful and famous beach. If you want to see another beach just lmk. Our experience will be around a 1-hour tour of the magic island around 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. (meeting time might change according to the sunset time of season). You will receive 20-30 photos after the session! We will head to different spots locating at the magic island included the artificial shallow Lagoon spot, sand beach, and coast isle. We will bring you to discover one secret location close to the lagoon. Along the way, you will enjoy the lovely sunset and intriguing ocean view!
