"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Although built in 1884 Anglesey has all of the facilities that are expected in a modern home. More history available in the guest guide.

Bathroom with shower and seperate toilet Full kitchen Washing machine and dryer Secure yard beside the cottage. Pets are allowed inside but please not on the beds or the furniture. Undercover and off street parking. This cottage was previously hosted by Fred and Di and I have bought the cottage 18 months ago. I have maintained their same high standards.
