Perfect place to get away from it all, the small township of Torrent Bay has around 40 permanent homes most of which are empty through the year. The bay livens up in the summer when most of the properties are used which gives a friendly atmosphere. Kid safe beaches and lagoon, lots of bush walks on your doorstep. Enjoy the feeling of settling down to a refreshing drink while the day trippers are rushing off to board a water taxi. There are 2 homes side be side so larger groups can be catered.

The Abel Tasman is one of "NZ's 8 Great Walks". The beautiful golden sands and pristine waters of Awaroa Inlet, and the Abel Tasman track are on our doorstep. Our Awaroa beachfront property is located on the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park and Piwakawaka Cottage is nestled in our back garden. We have a Necky Looksha 19ft Ocean double kayak, life jackets, dry bags, free to use to explore the estuary, the river or Awaroa Bay.
