This cute 200 year old castle folly in rural Warwickshire was restored with help from the BBC's 'My Unique B&B' programme to give you a medieval, romantic experience in a beautiful setting. It includes panelled walls, skylight above the bed, castle style theme and even a knight!
Facilities include a walk in shower, TV, fridge freezer and a hob. Outside there is an eating area, shared garden and a hot tub (seasonal).
A breakfast pack is provided.
With a village pub close by what’s not to love?!

This is a self contained 'tiny house' so as you would expect there's not a lot of space, and that is part of it's charm! You will be pleasantly surprised at what we have managed to fit into this small space.

With a seating area, garden and hot tub outside this is a great space for a romantic time away. The hot tub is seasonal (April-September) but can be made available out if season by arrangement.

Downstairs, the kitchen area has all you need to be able to make a simple supper and a cooked breakfast (including a hob, pans, kettle, Nespresso machine and toaster). Basic foodstuffs e.g. salt, pepper, tea, coffee, oil are available. A welcome breakfast pack plus milk and orange juice are provided free of charge. There is a fold up table and chairs so you can sit inside, or if you prefer there is an outdoor seating area. This is undercover and has pretty festoon lighting for the evening.

The bathroom includes a tucked away walk in shower. Towels are provided.

Upstairs is the bedroom. The beautiful paneled walls definitely give this room a 'wow' factor. The comfortable double bed, with its medieval style headboard has an electric blanket for winter nights. Modern facilities in the room include phone chargers, a TV, electric heater and Wi-Fi. Above the bed is a large, gold trimmed skylight. You can watch the sun go down and the stars come out from your bed...how wonderful is that!

The Folly itself is in one corner of a 200 year old walled garden and has a great history. it used to be the boiler house, heating water that ran along pipes in the walls, enabling pineapples to grow against them in lean-to greenhouses.

The garden is fully enclosed so safe for a dog. Part of it is private, but the area in front of the castle is shared and available for you.

The property is on the edge of our picturesque sleepy village so any noise will be from wildlife or sheep in the field nearby!

We live in the house in the garden so are on hand if you want/need us, but if you prefer to be completely private we will of course respect that.

Priors Marson is a beautiful little village set in the Warwickshire countryside with a school, village hall and a local pub which runs a Chinese takeaway. An ideal place for a visit to the country, there are plenty of options for walking and cycling, and we are on the part of the Millennium Way.
Hellidon Golf course is a 5 minute drive away, and many tourist attractions are quite close including Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle, National Trust properties, Stratford upon Avon and Leamington Spa.

Please note that apart from the local Chinese take away the nearest place to have a sit down meal is the Red Lion pub, about an hours walk away.

Hi there.

We moved into Priors Marston a few years ago and feel really lucky to live in a such a beautiful part of rural Warwickshire. We thoroughly enjoyed renovating the castle folly ready to be a B&B as part of the BBC’s 'My Unique B&B' programme in the summer of 2021. You can watch that happen on iplayer, season 2 episode 4 ( Website hidden by Airbnb)

We like to be sustainable, reusing where we can, and you will see evidence of that in the castle. We've also installed solar panels which provide the energy for the castle.

I think other people would describe us as a positive, friendly couple with a zest for life and an interest in the world around us. We would happily chat to you about the history of the castle. places to go etc. if you’d like that. If you'd prefer to be completely private we will of course respect that.

Both Toby and I would feel really chuffed if you decided to come and stay at Castle Folly.

Castle Folly is totally self sufficient, so if you want to come and go without meeting us that's perfectly fine. The folly is in a shared garden though so do expect to bump into us (or our little dog Skye) at some point, especially in the summer! If you do have any questions, or fancy a chat do get in touch and if we are round we'd like that, we're very sociable!
