Cass Bay is a beautiful spot on Banks Peninsula, easy driving distance from Christchurch City. There is a lovely, sheltered swimming beach and a number of fabulous walks in the area including the fabulous coastal trail from Lyttelton that runs past Cass Bay.

The unique, arty port town of Lyttelton is just 5 minutes' drive from Cass Bay and offers a number of shops, cafes and bars as well as the famous Saturday Farmers Market.

Within a short drive down the peninsula there's Governors Bay (complete with historic pub and a great cafe), Charteris Bay and Diamond Harbour, where you can catch the ferry all the way back to Lyttelton.

The Banks Peninsula region has so much to offer to visitors, from the marine wildlife and historic French flavours of Akaroa, to hiking and mountain biking in the hills, to boating, kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding in the harbour.

Cass Bay is only 15 minutes' drive from Christchurch so it's also a convenient spot for accessing the city while feeling like you're miles away from town in a little beachside community.

Kia ora, we are a Kiwi couple but Chris is originally from the UK. Just after travelling the world we returned back to NZ and we have been enjoying repaying the favours and inviting guests into our new home since June 2020. Was perfect timing too before the world changed! We have just bought a 2nd Air bnb property in Cass Bay so from Feb 2022 we will have guests from all around the world!

We are in our early 40's but young at heart and very well-traveled. Always keen to hear about other people's experiences and travel stories.

We are very clean and tidy non-smokers who like to eat healthy and look after ourselves. Growing our own veg & fruit helps us do this! We are passionate about the environment and try our best to be eco friendly. Our house is very quiet so we hope you enjoy the peace like we do.
