Welcome to Falls Rest, a small romantic cabin in Wentworth Falls in the World Heritage Blue Mountains. The cabin is tucked away at the rear of our property adjacent to the main log cabin but very private. We have thought of everything from the gas log fireplace to the stunning claw foot bath, theres even a 42” smart tv in case you need to catch the latest release on Netflix! There is a compact but practical kitchenette for you to use including a fridge, toaster and kettle. Relax and enjoy.

Our cosy little cabin has everything you will need for your stay, with private access and parking. You will have the entire cabin all to yourself with views into the rear yard. We have planted lots of native plants to encourage as much bird life to our garden and all the bird photos you see in our listing were photographed by Nicole in our garden. Watch the birds bathing in one of the five bird baths from the comfy armchairs, soak in the fantastic claw foot bath, or laze around and watch your favourite Netflix show.
The bathroom has a stunning rain shower, underfloor heating and heated towel rail to keep everything warm and dry. The kitchenette has everything you need to cook breakfast or a quick and easy meal and we provide coffee, tea and a few little extras. We believe our listing has a bit of our heart and soul built into it, it's not just a place to sleep, but a destination on its own.
Leura and Katoomba both have supermarkets if you wish to pick up some groceries or snacks, or Wentworth Falls has the famous Schwarz’s bakery.

The Blue Mountains has a cooler climate and will be at least 6-8 degrees colder than Sydney, we recommend bringing an extra layer or jacket for those days when you venture outside, even in summer! In winter we may get a dusting of snow which is always exciting. The cabin is cosy, with double glazed windows and doors, the gas log fireplace or if you feel the heat in summer we have reverse cycle air conditioning.

David and I live in the main log cabin on the property with our small dog Peppe and are here to help with anything you may need for your stay. Ps: Peppe is an inside dog and does not have access to the garden unsupervised, but loves a pat if given the opportunity! Follow our Insta to see where it all started @fallsrest

A quiet south Wentworth Falls location, just a 2 minute drive to the Wentworth Falls picnic area and parking, ten minute drive to Leura and fifteen minute drive to Katoomba. The majestic Wentworth Falls is know as one of the best waterfalls in the Blue Mountains, falling 187 metres to the valley below.

Hello, a little about us.
Welcome to Falls Rest, this is our story of how we became the owners of a gorgeous log home in the World Heritage Blue Mountains. It started with a kiss, no really it did, we met on the internet when internet dating was nice and easy and before it was all about swiping left and right! RSVP you rock! David was the one where my kiss landed and stayed. In 2019 we bought a run down log home in Wentworth Falls which we slowly renovated making it our forever home. Our next step was building Falls Rest, a small romantic cosy cabin at the back of our log home. We are owner builders which means David and I built the cabin from the ground up, if you follow our Insta you can see where it all started and how we managed to build our little dream B&B. We cant wait to share Falls Rest and enjoy the company of new visitors, friends and family.
