Welcome to The Nest -- the perfect base camp for all of your Whitefish adventures. It's a new chalet with all new furnishings as of 2020. The location can't be beat. Smack dab in the middle of darling Downtown Whitefish and Whitefish Mountain Resort with quick access to trails. Onsite pool, hot tub, fitness room and game room across the street. Just a two minute walk away is Crema Specialty Coffee, Tap House micro-brews and grill and Alpine Deli and Market for quick food items.

Our home is new construction with all new furnishings as of February 2020. The main living room has a fireplace, flat-screen smart TV with cable, cozy seating and a basket of board games. The open kitchen has stainless steel appliances and stunning quartz countertops with three counter-height stools. It is equipped with all the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils you will need to prepare a meal. A side-fold table seats up to six people with chairs and bench.
The Master Suite has a king-size bed, spacious closet with washer and dryer, blackout blinds, and an in-suite full bath. The bathroom is a gorgeous five-piece bath with a large tub, stand-up tile shower, double vanity, and a separate room with a door for the toilet. The upstairs sleeping loft feels like a true nest with beautiful views out large windows. It can sleep up to five more in queen over queen bunks and a stand-alone queen size bed. There is also a pack-n-play for the little one. Note that you’ll be sharing a large bathroom, so we feel our unit is best suited for families or friends who feel like family. We welcome groups as large as 7 if it's a mix of kids and adults, however, that can feel crowded. The average stay is 2-5 guests.
The deck has an uninhibited view of Big Mountain and its neighboring peaks. Your vehicle has a covered car port parking space under the deck.

We have thought of your comfort every step of the way in furnishing our home. Here’s what sets our home apart:
1. There are two additional privacy features in the sleeping loft. First, a floor to ceiling black-out curtain at the end of the bunk beds. Second, a room divider can be found in the closet if you’d like more privacy between the bunks and the queen stand-alone bed.
2. Lockable ski and mountain bike storage in large carport closet. This way your gear has its own, secure resting place and doesn’t fill up space inside the home.
3. Freshly laundered duvet covers are changed after every stay, just like the sheets and pillowcases, for the cleanest sleep possible.
4. Eight beach towels provided for use in The Quarry’s pool, which you can see out your front doors, or at Whitefish Lake.

- Outdoor swimming pool is closed in winter. The hot tub and steam room are open year-round.
- There is ongoing construction and landscaping nearby as The Quarry begins Phase Three. Please message us for updates on the construction if this concerns you.
- No smoking, vaping, pets or parties permitted at this property.
- Please understand that due to allergies, pets are not welcome at this property.

- On a mountain bike ride or hike on the Whitefish Trail System. Paved trail right at the Quarry connects to all of Downtown. Dirt single track trails are within a five minute drive. Ask me for your local trail map.
- Spend the day in Glacier National Park, a thirty minute drive away.
- For a hike and huckleberry picking in late July and August at Big Mountain, just ten minutes away by car.
- Explore all the cute shops of Downtown Whitefish -- 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive away.
- Skiing or snowboarding at Big Mountain (Whitefish Mountain Resort), voted #3 in the nation by National Ski Magazine.
- Kayaking or paddle boarding at Whitefish Lake. Ask me about our favorite local beach.
- Swimming and hot tubbing at the Quarry Clubhouse seen out your front door.
- On a scenic road trip to nearby mountain lakes for a picnic.
- Golfing, whitewater rafting, alpine sliding, ziplining, adventure ropes course and on and on.
Don’t feel like driving? No Problem. Getting around Whitefish is FREE and EASY via the SNOW BUS! The SNOW BUS takes you all around Whitefish including up to Big Mountain and back during peak ski and summer seasons! The closest pickup is just a two-minute walk right at the Quarry.
Pretty soon it will be time for dinner and with so many delicious options in Downtown Whitefish you are sure to enjoy a delightful meal. Then maybe hit a brewery, cowboy bar for line dancing, live theatre performance or simply return to relax in our comfy home. Satisfied from head to toe at the end of the day – what a feeling!
