The Home
Comfort, Location, and Views! When you walk through the entrance of this newly remodeled home you are overcome with the beautiful views of False River. Being in the heart of New Roads, close to everything, you still feel this sense of remote comfort. The house is easy to access via a wireless keypad. Enjoy the TWO outdoor balconies with all new furnishings for a cocktail hour overlooking the beautiful waters. Down on the first floor is a second living space for kids or movie night.

Comfortable downstairs living area with sunroom. Large outdoor spaces for you to enjoy on both levels. Hard surface flooring throughout the property. What makes this place stand out are the small details to make your stay stress free. Property has good design elements incorporating a modern and contemporary vibe throughout.
Bee Happy has a Lending Library stocked with a variety of books (including some for children). Bring books to contribute when you stay here and take whatever catches your eye. Plenty of games and puzzles are provided for afternoon and evening fun. Foosball table offers inside fun when afternoons get too hot. Large televisions located on both levels for movies, binge watching or Saturday morning cartoons with the little ones. The outdoors guest’s closet offers many outdoor yard games and floatable rafts for the lake.

Fully stocked gourmet kitchen allows for cooking or enjoying take-out from one of the many great local restaurants. There a few boat slips available right outside the first level door (first come first serve).

Thomas is a native of Crowley, Louisiana and a graduate of the University of Louisiana Lafayette. During his time at UL, Thomas was elected as Student Body Treasurer, held the position of Business Manager for Student Publications, and was an active member of Our Lady of Wisdom and Ozone Ministries. During the summer months, he oversaw the Lake Program at a Christian summer camp, Camp Ozark. After earning a degree in Finance, Thomas moved to the beaches of 30A in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida to work in the real estate industry. He has now found his way back to Louisiana to bring his property management and hospitality expertise back to the state that he loves.

In addition to his time in the real estate market, Thomas joined the newly developed Town of Alys Beach where he oversaw operations of their premier property, Caliza. This high end hospitality experience is where Thomas embraced the practice of full-service customer care and attention to detail. Working closely with the various departments and diverse homeowners, Thomas gained the understanding that excellence is in the details.

The goal of River Homes is to provide a full service, quality, customer-oriented experience; including renting, property management, equipment rentals, professional services, and a unique concierge access.
