Mananui is a very special place. Please respect the property and our resort neighbors. This beautifully crafted 400 sq ft. small cottage home has been transformed into a Disney inspired Tiki hideaway from ceiling to floor. Complete with bamboo posts, thatching, authentic native artifacts and ofcourse, you gotta have a tiki bar! (Booze not included!)

Totally redesigned to include smart home capabilities. Features include: high speed wifi 400 mbps, onsite sensor lighted/video entryway security, custom retrostyle smart tv with Disney+ (Premier movies available: just added Jungle Cruise! - Duh, Black Widow, Cruella & Mulan) Netflix, Hulu and Amazon streaming services installed, home audio system, Alexa enabled smart home for lights, music and climate control. Queen size bed in a totally renovated bedroom with nods to Disney’s inspired Polynesian Village Resort. A fold out sofa bed, a Tiki bar and screened in lanai with a beautful partial lake view for those stunning Florida sunsets! Because of the size, it is PERFECT for 2 people. We do have a sofa bed if the second person wishes to have his/her own sleeping arrangement. On occasion, I will allow a 3rd person. Please message me prior.

Important Bathroom note:
The bathroom has been totally redesigned with a walk in shower themed to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Trader Sam's. However, due to the "tiny house" floor plan, our plus size ohana may have issues utilizing the toilet. A person can gain more space by simply moving the shower glass door forward. As a 300 lb man myself (at time of writing this) I can tell you it is definitely manageable. But I want everyone to have a pleasant experience so please be aware before you book! There are some bathroom photos to give you an idea.

Your re-“treat” to relax & recharge while visiting the parks or Orlando area.

Sorry, children are not recommended due to the amount of breakable and delicate decor and native artifacts within Mananui. This is definitely a place for Disney/Tiki adults.

Mananui is situated on the Sherwood Forest RV resort section of cottage homes. Our property has a beautiful partial lake view with screened in patio/lanai for those awesome Florida sunsets! It is very quiet and tranquil. You’ll notice the local wildlife (squirrels, cranes, lizards, deer and even turtles) can be seen from the house while having your morning cup. Take a stroll along the lake but take heed of warning signs & beware of aligators!! (I havent seen one yet!)

Our resident neighbors are nice and very welcoming. But please be mindful of them & the neighborhood & and keep the noise level to respectible level especially on the lanai. “Quiet time” on resort property is from 10pm-8am

Iorana! I’m Tahiti Gil your host. A little bit about me....I’m an artist of over 30 years, 3rd genernation Tattooer/owner of one of America’s oldest parlors Est. in 1949. I travel often between San Diego and Orlando for work. My property is my east coast home, not a hotel, but I am more than happy to share this Disney/Tiki themed with like minded "ohana" while I am out of town. All I ask is please be respectful of the house and my neighbors. A positive experience for the both of us will ensure an invitation to return.

You’re invited to come visit my vacation home and experience “Fare Mananui” (Tahitian for “House of Big Magic/spirit”) in my Adventureland themed cottage home. - “Arrive as guests, leave as Ohana!”

If you are into tiki and Disney as I am, you are going to love my home designed by Typhoon Tommy (Tikiphile/ex-design team for Universal) including my personal collection of Disneyana, Tiki, nautical salvage and polynesian family heirlooms that will help you escape to tropical bliss!

This quiet tiny house lakeside resort is the perfect tropical hideaway. Located just minutes from Walt Disney World proper along with restaurants/markets and shopping upon exiting the property!

Guests have access to resort Pool amenities are a couple minutes walk down the road from the house.
This place was created for the Disney fan, tikiphile or artist in mind. Come wind down and recharge while visiting WDW or the other nearby theme parks or write or create your next masterpiece on the screened in lanai. The resort has a strict “no noise” policy from 10pm to 8am. If you’re here to “party” or get crazy this is NOT the place for you. Best experienced for guests!
