We have been hosting students and researchers and people on sabbatical who were drawn to Almora by their work. We also host people who consider Almora as their summer abode and stay here to avoid the harsh heat of the northern plains.
We also host our home to people for whom Almora is a pit stop to rest and refuel for further journey to Dol Ashram, Munsyaari, Pataal Bhuvaneshwar and other places.

We provide a self contained unit with a kitchen for you to relax and recoup.

The home is a cozy studio apartment in a villa. It consists of one bedroom, one living room, one functional kitchen with basic amenities for cooking and cook top (lpg) and a bathroom.
It also has a nice porch for soaking up the sun.

We stay away from the crowded parts of the city, yet we are well within the city limits.
The house is specifically very safe for solo women travelers who sometimes feel not so comfortable in the other parts of the city.
We have hosted many students on sabbaticals and students doing research work in the region; who have stayed here for extended periods - they find the ambience very conducive to learning.
We have hosted families who visit Almora for spending some quality time with each other in the serene environment.

We are available at check in.
After that, we let our guests be on their own unless they need any local tips or need to organize tours. In that case we can arrange for local taxis and help the guests in making up their itinerary.
Some of our guests enjoy eating the Kumaoni cuisine- which can be arranged for. Incase they want, they can come and learn the Kumaoni special "Bhat ki daal (blacksoya bean) and gahat ka phana (the very nutritious horsegram lentil soup) and the bhaanga (hemp seeds ) chutney which is incredibly famous from this part of the country.
