This charming backyard cottage is set in the historic Sanger-Heights neighborhood just minutes from Magnolia and blocks away from Downtown. Enjoy off-street parking and a private entrance to your own fenced yard. Your personal pathway leads to a private patio with an outdoor seating area. The cottage includes a Queen sized bed, TV with Netflix, bathroom, bathtub and shower. It is located on our property adjacent to our home, and we are available as much or as little as you desire.

This newly renovated cottage is situated in a peaceful, backyard setting. Though it is quite small, only bedroom and bathroom, it's a cozy place to relax and call home base for your stay! It opens onto a tiled patio surrounded by a privacy fence that separates the backyard of the main house from its. Inside, the bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, dresser, cozy chair, and a mini fridge. The television includes access to Netflix via Roku (note: there is no channel/cable access, you are welcome to log in to any of your personal subscription services). A brand new heating and cooling unit can be controlled via remote to your specifications. The full bathroom is spacious with a small closet including a pull-out hang bar and hangers. You'll find it stocked with towels, washcloths, and a hair dryer.

Sanger-Heights is a residential neighborhood. Our street is quiet but not far removed. We are located one block from from Antioch church and just across Waco drive from the Uptown area, where guests can walk or drive to Pinewood coffee and pub, Sloane’s bar, or Harvest on 25th for breakfast.

Hi, we're Sean and Hilary, two artists living in Waco, Texas. A couple years back we had the opportunity to relocate from Ohio for Hilary to pursue design and installation work and have loved calling Waco our home ever since. We put down roots in an idyllic turn-of-the-century Texas farmhouse within walking distance to our favorite coffee shop and a quick bike ride from downtown, adopted a couple pups, and celebrated the addition of our baby girl to our family soon after. Amidst all this transition we experienced such gracious compassion from new acquaintances, friends, and our church family here. That demonstration of hospitality will never be forgotten, and we hope you can experience a bit of that same Texas hospitality when you come to stay.
We love to travel and have used Airbnb to book unique accommodations across the country and abroad. Some of our favorite stays are the ones that have allowed us to live like locals, and that's what we hope to offer. Our guesthouse is in the backyard of our property so we live on the premises, but with a designated driveway, separately fenced yard, and keypad access, we want to leave the amount of contact our guests have with us up to them. None is necessary, but we are a stones throw away to help or answer any questions. We've appreciated the autonomy and privacy we've experienced during Airbnb stays as well as seasoned advice from hosts, and it's our privilege to offer the amount of contact you need to make your trip enjoyable!
