Newton Lodge, near Kylesku, is set amidst stunning scenery in the far North West Highlands. All our rooms are en-suite and are stylishly and individually furnished. Guests have the use of our two dining rooms with their wonderful loch views and our fabulous Highland Bar - No. 4. which is also open to non-residents. We are open for food during the evenings. This listing is for our Cosy King ground floor rear view double (kingsize bed) with an en-suite shower room.

Newton Lodge is situated above Loch Glencoul with the stunning peaks of Quinag behind us. Within a UNESCO Global Geopark - One of more than 150 worldwide, this protected area tells the story of a unique landscape and geological heritage. 3 billion years of rock formations – the oldest to be found anywhere in Europe and containing the earliest evidence of life. Visit The Rock Stop Café for more information on this fascinating subject and marvel at the view!

There is so much to see and do here including visiting one of the many wonderful beaches peppering the area. Be astonished by golden sands and crystal-clear water.

Hike up one of a multitude of peaks including Quinag itself – our neighbouring Corbett or Suilven and Canisp. Or, try Ben More and Conival, the only 2 Munros in Assynt.

We are the Newton family - Ed, Lisa, and Blythe, and this is our bed and breakfast Newton Lodge.

The lodge is situated in a wonderful position overlooking Loch Glencoul on the North Coast 500 route near Kylesku and has stunning views of the loch and surrounding mountains including the brooding peaks of Quinnag. All of our rooms have a view of either the loch, mountains or both as explained in each listing and there are fabulous views from the guest lounge, conservatory and bar. The name of the property and ours was sheer coincidence. It was meant to be!

This is our second year of ownership and we have been continuing with our drive to improve Newton Lodge. Major changes to the building have been carried out, including a full refurbishment of all our 7 bedrooms and guest areas and the installation of new windows and dining conservatory. We are also delighted to introduce our Public Bar - No 4. It is very exciting to open the doors and share this fantastic place with you.

Newton Lodge is the perfect base from where you can explore all that this wonderful area has to offer and we look forward to welcoming you soon!
