Unique, beautiful, secluded, RECENTLY UPGRADED accommodation situated in stunning countryside as a peaceful oasis near to Cannon Hall Farm. Comfortable for retreats, holidays or mini-breaks.
Located in a converted 17th century church on a hill in the heart of Yorkshire, this beautiful, well-equipped apartment offers perfect sanctuary from busy city life: country footpaths, quaint shops/delicious pubs & fascinating places to visit including the Yorkshire Sculpture Park & the home of the Wesley’s.

For 1-4 people:

A unique self-contained studio apartment with its own entrance, en-suite bathroom (jacuzzi bath and shower), entrance and kitchen, which includes an oven, hob, fridge, kettle, microwave, washing machine, airer etc.

We have a jacuzzi bath with salts, bubbles and other things to make your stay comfortable. There is also a recently installed full shower over the bath, complete with shower curtains.

The apartment has one comfortable king-size bed, two single beds, a dining area, selection of furniture including a small settee & two old Parker Knoll chairs.

It features a one of a kind, beautiful William Morris stained glass window of The Ascension.

Luxury continental breakfast items (various teas, fresh coffee, hot chocolate, variety of cereals, fruit selection, croissants or crumpets, etc.) We can cater for gluten, dairy and wheat free breakfasts, including diabetics. Also Plant Based.

(Option for a bespoke cooked breakfast package - meat or plant based - for a small additional fee. Please let us know whether you would like to opt-in for this when booking so we can arrange in good time.)

We do our utmost to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

For 4-5 people:

HOWEVER, we do have an additional adjoining room available, if you’d like to make your getaway more spacious to sleep up to 6 guests! Discounted rates available for the second room, once the main apartment has been booked.

Situated in a beautiful hamlet in green belt countryside, Eagles Rest Retreat is surrounded by beautiful trees and gorgeous views. It is close a lovely pub, The Cherry Tree; close to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Cannon Hall Farm, Cawthorne and other lovely villages. Five minutes to the M1 with access to Barnsley, Sheffield, Doncaster and Derbyshire to the South, Leeds, York and Harrogate to the North, there are many beautiful places to visit for a holiday or mini break.

I am a life and leadership coach and trainer who is a former Anglican parish priest.
Both my husband and I are friendly, positive people who enjoy travelling and meeting new people.

We have two adult children, and grandchild, and an adult foster daughter.

I can't live without humour, openness, hospitality, kindness and thoughtfulness.
