Farm Animal Experience near Oamaru
Visit our 300 acre bull beef farm, learn a little about what and how we farm and then meet, feed and pet our collection of cute farm animals. The tour begins at the family house where we will get you into a pair of gumboots (don't forget to bring a pair of socks). There is no set order as to how the tour goes, it all depends on where the animals are located at that time and also what is happening on the farm. We will discuss the process of rearing bulls from calves and then fattening for market. The majority of the tour is spent meeting our farm pets and feeding them so if you love animals this is your chance to get close and personal. We have 4 alpaca, pet sheep, Eponine the Kune Kune pig, a large flock of chickens and ducks. Usually we are accompanied by some of the farm dogs. From October - February the chickens and ducks are breeding so sometimes you will get to see fluffy babies. From August -October we are rearing calves so bottle feeding a calf is possible. Bottle feeding lambs is also available August - October. May-August is when our bulls are grazing on winter feed, which is quite interesting. Farming in New Zealand is different from a lot of other countries as our animals are outdoors and grass-fed for the majority of the year.

Ride to the Sky Queenstown eBike Tour
Take a ride with me to the top of Grant Peak, 800 meters above sea level overlooking just about all of the Wakatipu Basin. (it may sound hard but remember you're on an eBike and it has a magic button 'TURBO' that flattens hills) and I wil be there to guide you every pedal of the way. What makes this trail so magical is the spectacular scenery showcasing the very best of Queenstown's natural landscape. This is an exclusive location, you'll only be able to get there with me. Learn about the local European and Maori that the Wakatipu basin is steeped in. The gold, the Pounamu, farming and in recent times all played an integral part in what Queenstown looks like today, 360 views only 5 minutes from the airport. Other things to note This eTour is for the confident/intermediate bike rider, not for the novice rider. Be smart, dress for suitable weather.

Vogel Street Walk
We'll meet inside Vogel Street Kitchen (76 Vogel Street). After introductions and a short health and safety briefing, I'll give some historical context, then lead you on a walk through Dunedin's characterful warehouse precinct. The focus will be on the sensitive redevelopment which has recently transformed this neighbourhood. We'll move through some very funky public, semi-public and private spaces, and hear the backstories of several repurposed buildings. We may even meet some of the neighbourhood heroes. Other things to note: We must take precautions to limit the spread of COVID19. I, your guide, will wear a facemask throughout the tour; I ask that you do so whenever inside a building. Also, we must keep a metre or two of space between ourselves and others we meet on the tour.
Fly Fishing Adventure
Come fish with a professional NZFGA certified fly fishing guide and take home the memory with a professionally cut together and personal movie of your day. Small group size with a maximum of 3 persons per trip. This is an ideal adventure for one to three adults or with children over the age of 12. I will introduce you to fly fishing – you will learn to cast and spot fish, and maybe catch your own trout, in a stunning environment on one of New Zealand's world-class fishing lakes or rivers. I'll provide instruction on choosing your fly, casting and placing, and of course, what to do when your fish bites! Note: fly fishing, or angling, can be a rewarding and addictive sport, that takes you to some of the earth's most beautiful and unspoiled places. It is an art form however, and beginners in your party may not catch their own fish. However, we ensure you have an exciting and informative introduction and a great day out! (This adventure is intended for beginner and novice fly fishers. If you're already experienced I do also operate full and multi-day guided fly fishing trips). Other things to note You are required to purchase a fishing license for every member of your party. This can be done online; a one-day licence costs from $20.
Romanian Culture - Dance & Food
I would like you to experience and learn how to cook and bake Romanian traditional food while listening Romanian folk music While the food gets ready you will also learn how to dance a few of the most famous Romanian folk dance. We will then finish our experience by enjoying the goods that we have cooked and baked.
An evening of Illusion
Your evening with Declan Wong - Illusionist begins with a complimentary welcome glass of New Zealand wine (or non alcoholic beverage) and the sharing of a plate of his famous dumplings with a divine special sauce. It's time to break the ice so this is a perfect opportunity to mix with other guests (maximum 6 in a group) and enjoy relaxing after your busy day in Queenstown. We'll follow with two more of Declan's chinese dishes, learned at his father's New York restaurants and including dishes not served in NZ restaurants. We'll serve another glass of divine wine should you wish, to accompany the food. ** Food and wine is vegan-friendly** And now the magic begins! Declan will wow you with an up-close and personal illusion show – demonstrating an art that he has performed on stage and in movies. After his performance he will move on to close-up sleight of hand, interacting with you and encouraging you to watch as closely as you like! We guarantee you'll be amazed, wowed and perplexed! Note: this experience is all about magic and the charge is for the Illusion show. However we invite you to enjoy complimentary food and wine with us, your hosts. Children under 8 years are welcome to accompany you at no cost.
