The Salt Box was floated from nearby Flat Island in the early 1950s during Newfoundland's resettlement period. It found its new home on Erics Road, nestled in the community of Eastport, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland. Just mins from beautiful sandy beaches, fabulous coastal hiking, Terra Nova National Park and the historic community of Salvage. Recently fully renovated, rustic and whimsically decorated, perfectly suited for 2 guests. Double decks offering outstanding ocean views.

Our cabin is a SEAsonal Delight for up to 8 guests (2double beds and 2 queen beds.)It is located adjacent to the ocean near Eastport Beach (500 metre stroll). Relax on the deck overlooking the ocean and enjoy beautiful sunsets as the waves lap on the shore. In the words of a lady who visited “You have a gem here. The view is amazing-and such a cozy outdoor space to enjoy it. R&R just fell upon us.”
