We are located between Detroit Lakes and Park Rapids, on 3,000 acre Shell Lake with a sandbar. The guest space is connected to the main house, where we reside, with entrance through the breezeway into the guest cabin. We are 45 minutes from Itasca State Park and 30 minutes from Park Rapids or Detroit Lakes. There is a fire pit and propane grill for your use. We have two kayaks, a stand up paddle board and a paddle boat for your use at no charge.

Welcome to Sunset Cabin on Cotton Lake. Enjoy the lake and sunset views from the 2 large front windows. A bedroom and loft provide sleeping space. There is a sandy beach and dock for your use as well as a firepit for those chilly summer nights. We are close to our neighbors, Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge, Detroit Lakes, and Park Rapids. Guest limit is 4.

Gorgeous sunsets and a sugar sand beach in the heart of lakes country await you! We also have a 20' pontoon with new seats available for rent.
